Finl Review Part 2

Things that i would of liked to learn in depth is the Alice program. Making 3d images would have been a nice thing to learn about. The least useful information i got in this class is the binary lessons, mostly because I took the A+ hardware course while i was in high school and were taught binary already. Other than these thing I think that this class was very informative and at the very least a refresher for some of the things i forgot about in the 5 years i was out of school.

Document and Spreadsheet

Today I had to do a review for my computer class. I have created a CS1107 document that shares what i think about this class and what i have learned.

I also created a CS1107 spreadsheet. This simple spreadsheet was a review to how to make spreadsheets using Google Docs.

Scratch game's beginning

This is a game i am making in my computer class using the Scratch program by MIT. It's not finished at the moment but it should be done within a week or so. The first picture is the different stages i have for the game. The picture above is the script i used for the stages and the one on the left is the script used for the Frosty character in order for it to move and say things.

Scratch!!!!!!!!

This is a screen shot of what i made using Scratch. It's a pretty cool program that lets you make pictures and even animate them using simple commands.

Extra credit links

Tonight we wrote and sent surveys to each other. Once people clicked submit, their answers were placed in my spreadsheet.

Here is another link to google.

Blurb and pain.net

The following distorted pictures are created using Paint.net and the skull photo was from Blurb.com. Paint.net is a very handy program similar to the paint that comes with your OS, but has more features to it. Blurb.com is a website that lets you create your own book and you can even publish them if you like.

Injuries Survey

This survey is about injuries people have had in the past. The answers to this survey is here ANSWER, which only 4 people were made to do it at this time. The survey was about injuries and what was the most common for that person.

These images are from Nick Veasey's website, http://www.nickveasey.com/. He's an accomplished x-ray photographer. In my opinion he's a good photographer and needs to be recognized. I hope u all will look at this site and maybe even be inspired by him.

For today I made a slide show using Zoho.com. It's kinda like google documents in that there are many different apps you can use in it. One example will be this slideshow, but they also have mail, word processor, and many more.

Zoho.com Slideshow
For today i made a chart showing the broken bones people have had in their life. I asked 5 males and 5 females about their previous injuries and what bones they have broken. The top 5 broken bones are in the spreadsheet. By the look of my spreadsheet the collar and radius(part of the lower arm) bones are the most broken. All in all it seems like males tend to break more bones then females.

Thursday Homework

Today i have to make a animoto video as homework for last week. I think animoto is kinda cool considering you hardly do any work in making the video at all. My video is about X-rays, go figure. I always thought x-rays were cool and wanted to become an x-ray tech.

In today's world x-rays can be used for all sorts of things. Mostly x-rays are used in hospitals and clinics for injured patients. Nevertheless, people use x-rays for fun and educational means as well. One example is an x-ray of a person walking on a treadmill to see how the bones move and function.

x-ray animoto video

For my computer class today i made a animoto video. The video is about x-ray pictures with music. I hope u enjoy it.

Comp homework

I always thought that the x-ray machine was a fascinating thing. To be able to capture images of things we normally won't be able to see without the subject being dead. Being able to see broken bones, cavities, or even metal inside someone that is alive in my opinion is pretty cool. After i am done with college i hope to be a great x-ray tech and hopefully help out more than i do now.

My comp Assignment

As part of my computer class i had to frame a picture. This poor fellow got his hand just a tad bit cut. As you can see the hand was near chopped in half. I wonder if that hurt...
